Garden Expressions is a partnership of unique landscape artisans. With over 65 years of collective design/build experience, Bruce and Pete work intimately with each client to create their own private corner of paradise. Our creative design, meticulous installation and unparalleled customer service ensure a truly unique outdoor living space.

  Bruce Johnson (co-founder)

  Bruce leads the sales and landscape design at Garden Expressions. He has designed and built hundreds of unique landscapes, giving him valuable insight in working with client budgets and personalized landscapes. Prior to Garden Expressions, Bruce established Bruce Johnson Designs in 1982. Bruce graduated from Mankato State with a degree in Construction Management.

  Peter Larson (co-founder)

  Pete brings passion and 20 years of experience to the company. His work ethic, creativity and attention to detail have earned him a reputation as one of the top landscapers in Minnesota. Before partnering with Bruce, Pete owned Cottage Landscaping, which installed quality landscapes for numerous designers in the Twin Cities. Pete is the go-to guy on each Garden Expression project.
